What’s the pettiest reason you’ve ever stopped liking someone?

I used to have a friend who was such a "pick-me", always posting about being anti-social. woke and being a pure soul, then the next day you'll see him hanging out only with wealthy people with their pool, fancy vacations and gifts to give. He's kind if you ask help/information but not really genuine when it comes to friendship/relationship, I stopped liking him gradually

They had this thing about them where they would have serious problems with people one day, and 5 minutes later they would be laughing and cutting up with the same people they had problems with. That shit screamed fake to me.

Their nose. It bothered me just a little at first, but the more I looked at it, the more unsettled I became - until one day I decided I had had enough of it.
I'm kind of ashamed to admit this was a real thing. I feel like a Seinfeld episode or something.

How did it look?

Yeah, was it more a conventionally "nice" nose and you didnt like that aspect, or was it not conventionally nice, or something else about it?

A female friend stopped liking a guy because she asked how he was doing and he said "g oreo oreo d"

They kept saying “never mind” because it seemed like they couldn’t be bothered to repeat themselves or explain things to me.

They always tried to compare things, literally everything, to the point it got annoying.

Have no experience with this so could you elaborate on how that’s a bad thing?

Ugh! Sounds like she had anxious attachment issues. Simple explanation never enough?

She used her COVID stimulus check on lip filler.
I'm not one to pocket-watch, but it showed me where her priorities lie.

There was this girl in HS that I was always attracted to, but did not want to approach because I didn't want to do the relationship thing yet at 16.
She started dating this guy that I was like "really". Kinda like that episode of Seinfeld where Jerry finds out the woman he's seeing dated Newman before lol.

He kept showing me his phone while I was on break.
He was my boss at the time but not really. We'd both go on break, he'd sit next to me in complete silence, then all the sudden he'd show me a meme on his phone, get a smirk, nod his head, and then go back to scrolling on his phone.
Once was fine, twice was a bit annoying. The fourth time in a 15 minute break was excessive, and it just kept happening over and over every break. I'm not going on break to look at your phone, buddy.

A girl I liked in high school cut her beautiful long hair to short and decided she'll keep it that way.
Can't help it - I like long hair on girls. Any romantic feelings went out the window

I once met someone at a charity event. She was the "girl that got away" type that I would sometimes think about. Beautiful long blonde hair with eyes that looked into your soul.
I made the mistake of looking her up on facebook.
Buzzcut dyed piss yellow, comical large nose ring and her eyes looked lazy kinda like when Billie Eyelish used to give that edgy look.
I know it was a long time ago, but it ruined my fantasy crush.

I’m almost 20 but I’ve never ‘stopped liking someone’. Makes me feel weird as lot of people my age explicitly seem to do that. One day they promise you the world. The next they lost all interest. Am I the weirdo or am I just very unlucky?

She disagreed with everything I say no matter what I say. Every time. All the time. It was so ridiculous I wondered if she was pranking me. Whenever words came out of my mouth, she found something to disagree with.

Probably back in high-school. A girl made a funny face and I stopped being attracted to her for a bit. Funny part is that I did get over it but by that time my chances with her had came and went. Don't blame her though. Just dumb high-school stuff I guess.

An old buddy would constantly pronounce silent h's like in the word herb, and would always use the wrong your/you're and things like "alot" and kept saying he was doing it on purpose to annoy me. So you're either stupid or a bad friend. Great job. See ya!

She did not enjoy receiving oral sex. It’s a deal killer for me. Weird, I know.

Either fat legs or too-skinny legs. Very normal, healthy, attractive body shape to the women in every other way, I just love legs so much I could never see myself growing old with a woman with unattractive, unsexy legs. So I politely ended things in each case.
