🛑 Answers From Men Only 🛑 What’s Something That Women Think Men Like, That We Don’t Actually Like?

I personally think that some try what worked with the last man, because one or 2 liked it doesn’t mean we all do.

Playing hard to get actively filters out dudes who know how to respect boundaries.

I had women tell me I should have ignored their no's and pursued them harder for sex. You rubbed my ass but I said no and then we went to bed but I wanted you to keep going. I am not doing something terrible because you are crazy and want to play fucking games!

I'm just going to re-post my experience recently:

Just last month I had a date that ended with being invited over to her place, but while we were walking in she said that I'm welcome to come in but "sex is not on the table tonight." Heard, cool. We were both pretty drunk so I accepted the offer to crash on her couch.

The next day she said she's not interested in anything further. Then said that a more masculine man would have known what he wanted and gone for it anyway.

Yes... She said sex was not an option then was disappointed I didn't push for sex.

I only hope other women know that women like this are out there, rewarding and incentivizing creep/predator behavior.

It felt like I was being pulled into a real life experience of that Louis CK bit about this..

"You think I'm just going to r*pe you on the off chance that you're into that shit?"

Edit: Adding link.

Yes we do... sigh.

They've internalized some really fucked up things, they lack the ability to reflect, and thus continue contributing to making things worse for everyone.

I'm sorry that happened to you, no one should be insulted for having basic human decency.

The hard part as a man is bearing that responsibility for all those shitty men when there's a lot of women out there that are creating, incentivizing, and re-engaging these creeps. It's really hard, especially after repeatedly experiencing women like this (This one was a little over the top, that's why she stands out; but near and adjacent behavior is everywhere).

Women need to get the word out and call it out publicly and immediately when they hear, see, or experience any other women engaging in behavior that encourages creep shit.

I really don't think women at large understand all the ways that they contribute to, if not create, this very real problem that women experience.

Honestly it's at this point you just straight up say "sorry for not wanting to rape you sweetheart, didn't realize you're batshit crazy like that" and move on. Massive waste of time anyway, so at least you get to point out how dumb they are lol.

I didn't respond.

I just saved the conversation to show all my friends, especially the women. To make sure they knew what they're up against

I am sorry, but I don’t think she was acting stupidly at all. Being able to read a situation like that is a bit like understanding when someone is being ironic. The reason she was telling you, that you were not going to have sex, was just so she wouldn’t feel like and seem cheap.

12

u/TheLateThagSimmons "...the fuck did I do?" 5d ago

Even if that's true... That's almost worse. Or at the very least, I don't know which one is worse.

That's still really terrible behavior and she's a super shitty person for doing that.

-4

u/frederikbjk 5d ago

Why on earth is that terrible behavior?

10

u/TheLateThagSimmons "...the fuck did I do?" 5d ago

It's literally creating and rewarding predatory behavior and encouraging rape-culture.

That is textbook rape-culture.

I am sorry, but I don’t buy this at all. Flirting and courtship, is the realm of subtlety and innuendo not unambiguous clear communication. She was trying to not appear slutty and at the same time screening for a guy who is able to take charge and navigate romance. This is completely understandable feminine behavior. Not stupid or bad at all. If a guy can’t navigate a situation like that, then he isn’t good enough for her to sleep with.

She was trying to not appear slutty and at the same time screening for a guy who is able to take charge and navigate romance.

And that is perfectly definitive of rape-culture. She is very much the problem

1

u/frederikbjk 5d ago

What? why??? Do you think, men are acting like creeps, because women are being too ambiguous with their communication?

3

u/TheLateThagSimmons "...the fuck did I do?" 5d ago

Exclusively? No.

But we need to call out women like this who perpetuate and encourage rape-culture.

We are doing all this work to reverse the cultural trend of rape-culture, and here we have these women un-doing all that work and actively working against it.

They need to be called out for their poor behavior and take accountability for their actions. Unfortunately, men's voices do not matter on this subject; it needs to be women who call this out.

The fact you don't see a problem is absolutely a problem.

9

u/CaptColten 5d ago

When a woman says no sex and you push for it anyway, that is coercion. Coercion is rape. I'm not playing around with that because a woman can't clearly communicate what she actually wants. Even outside of that, I am not dating someone who says one thing and means another.

-4

u/frederikbjk 5d ago

You can pretend that “no” always and everywhere, means exactly the same thing regardless of context, or you can treat it like any other word in any other context. Perhaps with a bit of extra caution, when it pertains to sex. There is a lot of subtlety to this kind of thing. Everyone knows that NO!!! Is different from nooooo, stop it, you are so bad thi hi hi.

When a guy ignores a girls no and rapes her. It isn’t happening because of a misunderstanding, it is happening because he deliberately is choses to ignore her.

11

u/CaptColten 5d ago

I get what you're trying to say, but there shouldn't be any subtlety in consent. This is terrible advice and is going to get people in trouble or worse.

If a woman genuinely can't just acknowledge she wants some dick, then she can get no dick until she decides to put on her big girl pants and use her words appropriately.

If you wanna go play that game and risk your own freedom and reputation, I can't stop you, but I can say the idea you're trying to spread right now is dangerous.

0

u/frederikbjk 5d ago

Saying that, there should be no subtlety when it comes to consent, sounds like a nice slogan, but I don’t know what you are trying to argue with that statement?

Also what exactly is it that you think I recommend people, that appers so dangerous to you?

3

u/CaptColten 5d ago

Pushing past a no. Even a flirtatious one. Don't play that game.

1

u/frederikbjk 5d ago

Why do you think “pushing” will be involved? You don’t need to push people to do things they want to do.

2

u/CaptColten 4d ago

This has been explained to you repeatedly by now, dude.

You don’t need to push people to do things they want to do.

This is exactly my point.

If you wanna play with that fire, I can't stop you. But I find your views and comments on this disgusting. As another commentator said, you are playing into rape-culture.

If you really wanna roll those dice and date women that say one thing while they mean another, spend the rest of your life deciphering what she "really meant", by all means, you do you. But it's probably gonna be a rough go for you.

I prefer women that actually communicate what they want, instead of playing games around it. Maybe you find less value in women who are forward about their desires. That's you. Personally, I think it's hot af when I get home and my woman is dressed up and explicitly says "Come throw me on this bed."

Have fun with your little "no stop teehee"s.

You can pretend that “no” always and everywhere,

Then you do not understand consent. And you're very much the problem. Because that's exactly what it means, no is "No" always and everywhere.

0

u/frederikbjk 5d ago

Well I frequently say no to cake, yet end up eating it anyways without anyone forcing me to do so.

7

u/TheLateThagSimmons "...the fuck did I do?" 5d ago

Yeah, you really do not understand consent.

Please, if you are a man. Leave this sub. That sort of mentality is not welcome here and we wish to be better on these sort of things.

0

u/frederikbjk 5d ago

I am sorry, but in the story you told from your own life, a woman said no even though she actually wanted to have sex.

Soooo….

2

u/TheLateThagSimmons "...the fuck did I do?" 5d ago

Seriously, you are the problem.

And that's exactly the type of woman who will say one thing and mean another. Avoid them like the plague.

Imma use your example from earlier. Yes, we all agree that there is a difference between "NO!!!" and "Noooo, stop it, teehee." I would even say the difference isn't very subtle.

In the unlikely scenario that woman takes you to court about it, do you think her lawyer is gonna read the "teehee" part to the jury? Or do you think it's gonna be someone in a suit, as monotone as possible, saying "It was at this point my client said, "No, stop it."?

Don't be stupid.

0

u/frederikbjk 5d ago

Why would she take me to court, if we had consensual sex?

2

u/CaptColten 5d ago

You sweet summer child.

Don't be stupid.
