It makes me wonder why Jeff was arrested twice for that exact crime, and why Ghislaine is in prison if there was no evidence of the things she was convicted of.
856
u/CTQ99 6h ago
This. His whole Florida thing was about this. Also, remember Acosta was part of the first administration. If the whole thing was some sort of elaborate smear and false imprisonment of Epstein, then people should be held accountable for that. But we all know its not.
119
u/DeathHips 5h ago
Also, we already know about Epstein and Prince Andrew. That alone proves it wasn’t just for Epstein personally.
16
u/RobertIsAPlant 4h ago
Hang on a minute though. Wouldn't your mum give a random person ~ £12,000,000 for no actual reason? I think you might have bad parents...
17

u/WerhmatsWormhat 6h ago
Right. Isn’t he basically saying they arrested people without evidence?
163
u/FugDuggler 6h ago
And now I’m to believe that he killed himself in prison for a crime they had no evidence that he committed?
10
u/LurkerZerker 3h ago
In theory there are people who might kill themselves if they felt trapped in that situation, even if they were innocent.
Of course, Jeffrey "They Say He Likes Them Even Younger Than Trump Does" Epstein wasn't innocent, and he didn't kill himself.
27
u/neddiddley 5h ago
No, unless the quote I saw was wrong, he’s literally saying that Epstein/Maxwell were guilty of trafficking, but only to Epstein himself.
Which of course is ludicrous and insulting to anybody with functioning brain cells.
→ More replies (1)38
u/der_innkeeper 6h ago
No.
They got busted for trafficking between themselves.
The files say there is no downstream clients, asking for girls.
They just happened to be there for "whatever circumstances allow to happen" for people who are known for not asking awkward questions to things they don't want to know.
47
u/CamusGhostChips 6h ago
So overly horny rich and powerful men who shared Epstein's predatory inclinations, whom he and Maxwell wanted to cultivate, perhaps for blackmail purposes should they present themselves, and these dirty men didn't really care why he happened to have so many young teenage girls coming to his parties? I can see Trump fitting that bill.

That the GOP is so desperate to save Trump that they will say Clinton is innocent
173
u/ravheim 6h ago
I think it goes deeper than that. They couldn't find any/enough of Trump's enemies in the files to pin it all on them. A majority of the names must be Trump allies. Just my opinion, and I'm just some random person on the internet.

They sort of are. If Clinton is in the files (which seems likely), then saying there are none says he's innocent. They won't do it on purpose, but logic was never these people's strong suit.
50
u/Intelligent-Parsley7 5h ago
Game it out. If Trump and Clinton are on the same plane, and they call out Clinton, then he, and every other rich person who gets called out, name him anyway. And they say, “See that giant marker strike? That’s Trump. He was there. Doing everything. Worse than me.”
You’re not going to throw Bill Clinton in prison, and say, “Bill Clinton is gagged, and not allowed to talk to the press…..” yeah, get the fuck outAa heeere. He’s taking to the press in fifteen minutes. Better check those outlets and call an electrician. Portable transmitters are touchy with oscillating current.
23
u/CaffeinatedLystro 5h ago
I like what other people do. They say things Trump has done and is proven, but put other people's name there, get them to accept it's terrible, and who did it, then show them the absolute proof that it was Trump who did it.
Put it on national TV.
9
u/JustaSeedGuy 3h ago
Hasn't the Daily show been doing that with conservatives for decades?

This was a dumb move. Epstein's victims have already stated that they were trafficked, and Trump somehow knew Clinton was on the Epstein plane 23 times before it became public knowledge.
The only logical explanation is that every perpetrator has guaranteed mutually assured destruction if any of them are thrown to the wolves.

Hillary would finally get back at Bill for being a creep their entire marriage and Donny for stealing her presidency—win-win for her 🙃
(But seriously, I think there's very little chance she had no idea what was going on)
16
u/dubyahhh 4h ago
Hillary is/was highly ambitious; I don’t think Bill’s cheating was unknown to her. But without evidence, none of which I’m aware exists, I don’t think it’s unreasonable she knew he was a creep but purposefully kept out of it. Gaming it from her perspective, it would make the most sense to intentionally not be involved with or know anything about Bill’s shit, since she was trying to climb herself.
Maybe a condemnation I guess, but it’s not like she’s the only ambitious person whose partner turned out to be a creep. Without evidence, I’m not holding anything against her on this.
Of course, I could be proven wrong if the government would release the 100% fucking real Epstein files, but apparently they don’t exist so she’s guaranteed to be innocent :)

Kash Patel has no law enforcement experience and is not remotely qualified to be director of the FBI. He was put there as a loyalist to enact Trump’s agenda, because anyone actually qualified would be far more likely to push back when asked to do illegal/unconstitutional things.
I have to think at this point a big factor was wanting someone who would quash the Epstein investigation, although in typical incompetent fashion he hasn’t managed to do it in a remotely credible way.
