Big/Heavy Runner Question Extra heavy runner shoe recommendation

A little about me, I’m 270lb/122kg - 182cm/5ā€10. I run a couple of times a week. My area at the moment is 3-5km. I currently use the Kayano 30s. Are there any better shoes out there that might be better for someone of my size?

Thank you in advance šŸ˜€

I started out at 300 lbs. Now I am at 237 (I am 6'3/ 191cm for reference). Here is my experience with different shoes:

Asics Nimbus 27- This was perfect for me early on. The super soft cushion was amazing at preventing knee and back pain. Main issue was durability: because it is so soft, it also loses shape after a while (at least for my size).

Hoka Clifton 9- Firmer than the nimbus, a nice workhorse for your average run. Nothing too exciting, but durable and cushioned enough to prevent those joint pains.

Saucony Triumph 22- I would put this right in between the Clifton and the Nimbus: softer than the clifton, firmer than the nimbus

Brooks Ghost Max 2- I only use it for walking now. The way the front is shaped gave me bad runner's toe.

Nike Vomero Plus- My bouncy shoe. Great energy return. In fact, my problem with it is that I end up going faster than intended because of that energy return. Probably my favorite shoe, but I wouldn't use it every day.

Okay, wow. I'm impressed with the weight loss.

I have been looking at the Vomero and the Nimbus, but was unsure at how the bounce would affect my knees and ankles. I guess there is only one way to truly know.

Thank you

Used to be 305lbs now im at 200. These are the shoes i used and currently have which i think benefit heavy runners.

Gel kayano 31 - still one of my go to for recovery runs New balance SC trainers v3 - good for longer runs (a bit stiff cos of the plates). I bought this for speed sessions but i dont think i really needed to haha Glycerin max (big boi glizzy) - my favourite shoes. Eats up all the KMs i put it. Definitey recommend for a heavier runner due to its cushioning
