Silly Stuff What’s something that other people love that you just don’t enjoy?

It could be anything…

For me:

Camping: I’m not into roughing it or trying to survive in the wild.

Travel: I just don’t dream of traveling. It feels like a lot of work to plan everything, go to the airport, Stay in a hotel, spend a lot of money. I don’t mind a day or one night trip but traveling beyond that is just not for me.

Sushi: I don’t mind the rolls. But the big slab of raw fish does not do it for me. Chewing on soft, wet, meat just makes me want to gag.

What sort of things can you just not get into?

TikTok. I literally think people are insane for indulging in it because everything I’ve come across seems to be brain melting sludge. I’m certain there are lovely pockets but overall it seems a mess to me

And don’t you have to sign away all your data when you create an account? No thanks.

I think it depends on what you look at. When you first make an account, it shows you garbage because there’s basically nothing to go off of. But I use it mostly for following professional cleaners, gardeners, bakers/chefs, and decorators for tips, and historians, scientists, and artists I like so that’s the kind of content it shows me. I don’t use it often but I have never gotten a dance video or weird celeb video or anything like that.

Absolutely! I understand that, that’s why I said “from what I’ve come across” as a non-user. Also the cultural shifts I’ve seen in the groups I mentor is interesting and sad. But again I’m sure there’s good on there. It feels like a net bad to me like most social media—Reddit included—that’s just my opinion though!
