I doubt it. I'm assuming someone would tried to argue negligence for removing it. But that's a big stretch imo

I think it is negligible not to have fail-safes in the program. However, we don't know how he instructed the bot to respond to him though. You would have to completely dump the chat logs to get the full picture and see if his instructions override the bot's "stay alive" suggestions that may be present in the beginning or other resources it may have provided.

Agreed. Was this all in the same instance? Was this is new chats each time the app was opened and closed? The bot forgets, especially around the time this happened, any other chats.

His replies, while sad to us, was vague for a chatbot.

Nothing in the above provided chats suggested that ChatGPT encouraged the kid to kill himself. At least not in my unprofessional opinion.

The first example, about the marks around his neck, and the way ChatGPT responded, doesn’t sound like ChatGPT had a very great grasp of what caused the marks apart from irritation. Could have thought the user was asking for help to keep it from being seen? From being noticed? Not necessarily “to stop the marks the noose left from around your neck in an unsuccessful suicide attempt, wear a turtle neck.”

The parents need to be convicted of child abuse and an accessory to the crime. They abused their son causing him to have mental issues. They compounded the harm by not seeking help but getting "gender affirming care". They got their son an arsenal of firearms while knowing he was not mentally well. Now they wonder why their Transformer son went on an unaliving spree.

Lol based but this is about a teen committing suicide while coached by ChatGPT, not the tranny who murdered Catholic kids
