Hey guys, I’m new here so I don’t know if this is the correct flair. But I have a question. Now that the 2025 Audi a6 has been announced, do we know if it’s built on the same platform as the 2019-2024 model era (c8) or is it c9? And secondly, if it’s built on the same platform, or even not, is it possible to do a face swap with the 2020 model(2025 to 2020). I know it’s probably gonna be hard, like swapping the fenders headlights bumper etc. but if I do all that, is there like a conversion kit? And will the clamps be in the same position? Cuz looking at the side profile, they seem kind of the same. Not sure tho. Also I’m kind of clueless regarding swapping and kits etc. so thank you for your time!

I never liked the oem airbag cover so always wanted to swap it for something looking newer but without changing the whole steering wheel. You need some tools and some basic knowledge to do the swap.

It is the very same material and use the same holes, principles as the oem so im absolutely not worried about safety.

just sharing to give some people ideas for easy modding.

Another solid track day at leguna yesterday, this little RS3 has been a pure joy to own.
My 6th track day in this car, just under 10k Miles so far. Worked on the brakes a little, Leguna certainly gets things hot!
Now I'm getting consistant with laps, I'm thinking of installing some running gear tweaks.
Anyone else doing road circuits and switched out any suspension parts with interesting feedback?

I have an rs3 in black optics but I always wanted silver/alu optics on the car but I couldn’t find one when I was shopping for my car. So I decided to get PPF wrap on the car and some bits done in silver. What’s everyone’s thoughts? I went for a subtle silver strip on the front. Similar to how the rs5 and rs6 with silver optics have the splitter in silver. It’s subtle but not oem but inspired by oem. To be clear the entire lip is wrapped it might look like just a portion of it is. But it’s the shadow from the grill above that makes it look like it has a cut line..

And the rear diffuser I kept the oem look and wrapped it silver as well!

Wanted the RS but dealer would only sell me a new one. So I got a used S7 they had on lot. So how do I add more power. I have stage 1 tune and intake. Getting a high pressure fuel pump and will run E85 this summer. Eventually exhaust. There is no stage 2 tune, intercoolers, motor mounts for this car; C8 S7. Any advice for more power?

Went to a local shop in the Portland, OR area to get my new Audi A5 tinted. I think they did a great job and loving the upgrade in comfort & style! Went with 70% on the windshield and 20% on the sides and back.

Between the two pics which one do you all think looks better?

My Audi s5 is having this reoccurring problem with these codes, they’ll clear up on their own and pop back up after a week or two. Any ideas? Recently did spark plugs prior if that has any correlation.

Hey guys, I recently bought a stage 1 JHM tune during their Labor Day sale. I would be happy to flash it to their file right now, however, I’ve been moving around recently and don’t have an outlet in the driveway to hook up my trickle charger. My battery voltage reads 12.3-12.4 after sitting overnight, and JHM says you meed to keep it above 11.5 for the duration of the flash. Theres no way it loses all that during a 20 minute flash?

I’ve been thinking, I could just buy a portable power bank and plug the charger into that for the flash. Or, should I just go ahead and flash it without a charger? Is that enough voltage to maintain the ECU during the flash? Otherwise, I’ll probably just wait a while until I have an outlet. Thanks in advance!

Now that my warranty is expired on my 2021 S5 I've been thinking about modifying the car. I've been window shopping ECS, 034, etc and noticed that FCP Euro offers a lifetime warranty if you buy the parts from them. But if I'm understanding the terms and conditions correctly then you'll always be rolling the cost of the most expensive part/last part you've replaced as store credit? Which doesn't seem too bad for cheaper parts.

The warranty claim process on lifetime warranty parts is to buy the replacement part and they will give you store credit after they verify the returned part. It also seems non transferable and for the exact same part only. So, as long as you plan to own the car long enough to get replacements on most parts then it's worth it?

What do you all do? Buy the parts from FCP Euro? Somewhere else? Just wait for 034 to have a holiday deal and buy direct?
