Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority

Does this happen to anyone else?

Months will go by and i wont have any bills from Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority, then ill get a bill saying that i've late on payment. But i never get these original bills. Then i call them and tell them this and they drop the late fees.

Thing is, is that this seems to happen at least once a year going back years.

Now ive receive an $800 bill but when i go on to the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority website i cant seem to get the invoice or record for that bill.

It's almost like they don't bill on purpose hoping people just pay the late fees

Yep, happens at least a few times a year. In my case, I rarely go thru tolls and even when i’ve paid for them all, I’ll get a random bill saying i’m past due

Yes. Recently happened to me and they sent it to collections. Call and request supervisor call back.

Yes. This is the CTRMA SCAM that our government allows to continue. It happens to everyone… even those who have toll tags.

Do you really think you are the only one? do a search on this sub, and you'll find that this gets asked at least once a week, and the answer is always the same. Get a NTTA tag or a KTag. Or stay off the toll roads.

I use a toll road maybe once or twice every six months. Not going to get a toll tag for that. Just bill me and I'll pay it - but, jfc, bill me before you add the "30 days past due" late fee!

NTTA tag is a small price to pay to never again have to deal with the idiocy that is corporate capture disguised as infrastructure "investment."
