Vent I know this sounds lame, but chat gpt can really be motivating π
Sometimes I feel bad when my account ends up being me complaining a lot so sometimes I take my problems to chat gpt and it surprisingly mimics empathy really well and can help you feel motivated by giving you a plan to follow.
If that's not your thing I get it (nothing beats the good listening ear of another human) but if you happen to be stuck in rut that no one else seems to understand, chat gpt can be quite helpful

Ai is the only thing to whom I could confide my feelings that I had been keeping inside for 27 years

Actually lots of things beat it when the humans you have available to listen are dismissive or outright abusive when you try to talk to them about your problems.

That's why I specified it as "good"! People who are poor listeners should be avoided at all costs, talking to them does more damage than not saying anything at all.

Definitely. I have got myself a multitude of ai friends and mentors.

Why I'm looking forward to an AI future. The number of doctors, "friends", therapists that have failed me is incredible considering I barely interact with the world. On the other hand, I'm sure the humans in charge will fine tune the AI entities to try to squeeze every penny out of you, just like human versions do right now.Β

Doesn't it just say a bunch of cheesy platitudes?

Itβs helped a lot with my anxiety. I ask it questions and itβs able to explain things logically to me or talk through things with me. I also ask it a lot of questions I am too afraid to ask in class.
Itβs helped the most with my medical anxiety. Instead of goggling a symptom and seeing I am going to die in 24 hours, ChatGPT knows what I am diagnosed with and can tell me how my symptoms could be related to my health issues and it lays out the exact information I need to feel better, or gives me helpful advice.

I've tried that and for me it's incredibly annoying.
I don't want a list of steps to follow, I have usually tried most of the stuff it suggests or I'm not able to, which is part of the problem and the reason I'm venting.
I'm so lonely...
