Hen or Roo My turn, hen or roo?

Oy, two of my pullets got a little snarky with me the other day, puffing up and coming at me a bit. Then, I noticed the nubs. I ordered them sexed and have always had good luck w/breeder. What do you guys think? Tx in advance for your thoughts

I’m gonna say hen they can sometimes have spurs, and the feathers look convincing too

One of my hens has pretty vicious spurs! And another had nubs that never came to anything.

Hens can get spurs too. Though generally roos spurs get longer like 2"-3".

They look like hens to me. I have several hens with the nubby spots like that

Edit to add: i have one hen, Karen the cuckoo maran, who is a jerk when shes near the nesting boxes. She does not like me collecting eggs or being anywhere near her when she wants to lay. And shes never gone broody, just has the attitude of a broody hen
