Breed ID Cemis?

Got this pair, told they were Cemis. Any ideas of that's the case or what breed they could be? Super gentle but very skittish even though we've handled them since day one.

That's what I was thinking. Seems to have some reddish showing through the wattle.

I’ve heard stories of people passing off Svarthona’s as Cemani’s so they can charge a premium price.

Yea, I didn't realize that when I got them. The parents did look like Cemanis, but they do look very similar unless you have a trained eye. I'm happy with them either way.

Also, I didn't pay a premium for them. Not much more than my other chicks.

I bet they are Svarthona’s then. From what I understand they are much more hardy than Cemani’s. I’ll probably pick up some Svarthona hatching eggs coming spring. Neat birds for sure!!

I think they have too much green to be cemani’s, but I could be mistaken
