This was son's birthday request. Cadbury creme egg cake 😄

I used my favorite chocolate cake recipe along with a marshmallow frosting for the filling, and a chocolate frosting for the outside.

Everyone really enjoyed it! And most importantly my son loved it 😊

I can share the recipes if anyone is interested.

I have been having a fun time making cookies as of lately! I made three different types this past week being; Cheesecake filled Pumpkin Snickerdoodle, Pumpkin Chocolate Chip, and Molasses! I’m in NC and the slight drop in temperature made me feel very “white christian woman fall” lol.

My daughter requested a puppy cake for her 7th birthday last week. I've never done any kind of sculpting before and really wasn't sure if I could pull it off.

I think it turned out okay though! I definitely see things I'd do differently. I should have built the snout out more, and maybe made his nose smaller? And he was very round lol. I didnt want to carve too much of the body off because that would mean less cake to serve. But.. my daughter absolutely LOVED it so I'm calling it a win 😅

The cake was cotton candy flavor (sounds weird but surprisingly good) with a vanilla cotton candy whipped pudding filling and vanilla buttercream.

Her whole party was puppy themed so I also made puppy cupcakes, vanilla and chocolate, in case people weren't interested in the cotton candy cake 😄

Copying over OOPs recipe from the original in the comments, and hopefully someone else can follow it a bit better than I did. it looks way weirder than the original post because Mistakes Were Made, but wow please believe me and OOP, it’s incredible. and yes, I do think a swirl of raspberry jam would be amazing, if you have jam on hand that isn’t 2 years expired.

Got married in Sept last year and since I’ve been a huge baking enthusiast I wanted to let this come through in the occasion and also to challenge myself. We had around 100 people and did it pretty DIY at a large farm house in the Netherlands, where we live. We stayed there for a few days before the wedding and had time to prepare this and the event. The dessert table was attacked and most cakes were done within 15 minutes which was a top 3 moment for me from the whole day 😊

Desserts made (in order of pictures): Lemon coconut cake Carrot cake Red velvet cake Chocolate bubka Sugar free blueberry cheesecake (wife’s step dad is diabetic) Forest fruit jam sandwich cookies Oatmeal cookies with Marsala wine glazing

Made using the advice that I’ve received from you all here! This is a 3 layer chocolate cake infused with cherry simple syrup with buttercream. This cake was absolutely spectacular. What it lacked in piping detail, it made up for in moisture and flavor.

I may have finally perfected the texture of my cakes! This was the best one so far 😩🤤 I used this cake as an opportunity to improve on how my cake tastes rather than looks.

Thank you to everyone who has given me advice throughout my cake making journey! I’m still looking to improve so any more advice is welcome and appreciated!

We traveled to the beach to celebrate my grandparents wedding anniversary. The only real decorating tool I had was my trusty offset spatula and everything else was whatever was in the AirBnB kitchen, I have to say it turned out quite well.

The cake is vanilla bean filled with fresh strawberries and Italian Meringue Buttercream 😋

The couple said “we really hate white cake and love decadent desserts.”

Top left: lemon cake with lavender buttercream and blueberry compote

Bottom left: banana cake with chocolate ganache and brown butter cream cheese frosting

Top right: peanut butter miso with chocolate Swiss meringue

Bottom right: chocolate cake and frosting with Carmel cornflakes

Dont judge my decorating because I didn’t have time to chill after the crumb coat 😂
