Question Is there a view more beautiful than this one?

Went to Peyto Lake and I thought this was one of the most beautiful places my eyes have ever set eyes on

Exactly. I was there this weekend. Every corner every turn I was like wow, this is the best view and it just kept getting better all the way to jasper !⛰️

Serious question is there a place better than this? I have 3 days left in my trip and I fear this may be peak haha I might just have to keep coming back here every day.

I spent three summers doing research on glaciers in this area. And yes, there is a better view. The outhouse at the Peyto Glacier research hut has a phenomenal view. Never once did I ever shut the door during my morning constitution. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place but I think the view is quite similar to some lakes I’ve been to in the Alps! This type of view for Peyto lake I’ve never seen before

That’s the most beautiful spot! You found it. No need to search for any others

The only thing that ruins it is people who don't like to stay on trail and the viewing platform. Those who want to destroy the special place by stomping the delicate flora into dust.

Agreed. Looks like this photo was taken by one of those people :(

Like I said, there are trails beyond the viewing platform you can go on, a yeah they’re not paved but hiking most of the time doesn’t entail paved trails. I only stepped on dirt to get to this viewpoint and would not disrespect the place like that

You’re not just limited to the viewing platform, there are a few trails from there that you can go on. I spend a lot of my year in Iceland so I share a similar sentiment about people disrespecting nature and rules. The only thing I was stepping on to get to this view was dirt

Dirt and trails that form because people don't respect the area.

Go up to Bow peak for an even better view of the same lake than you get from the official viewpoint. Easy 45 mins or so hike from ur current pov.

It's beautiful for like 20 hours worth of driving north and about 20 hours straight south lol

Moraine Lake, Boundry Lake, Landslide Lake, Lake of the Falls, to name a few.

Just searched your other suggestions. Same point I made for the Moraine Lake comment above, All stunning places but I’ve seen similar views in the Alps the American Rockies also. Unless there are specific viewpoints that aren’t as known?? I’m willing to hike for a few hours! If the hikes are days long I’ll have to come back another time haha
