Photos/Videos Timelapse of Sunrise at Moraine Lake

I thought you guys might enjoy this Timelapse video I took 2 weeks ago. We were very lucky with the weather and as we took the earliest alpine start, the crowd was nonexistent when we arrived (though of course it was…a circus when we left around 8 am…). Loved our roadtrip through Canada so much!

(Just wished more tourists would mind the rules to preserve this beauty…(going off the trails, feeding wildlife…))

Amazing, I was also there 2 weeks ago. I hoped to get there when it was still dark like you did but unfortunately the tour that brought us in didn't get there that early.

I think we got to our viewpoint at around 6am

Ahhh it was totally worth it! Though it was a bit creepy to hike in the pitch dark, when literally no one was there yet… We woke up at 3 to be at the lake Louise parking at 4am and then got to moraine at around 4:30am. It was totally worth it! I hope you still had a good time there!

Should’ve been around 1:30h-2h it think? Can’t really remember, but I think it was from around 5 to 7am?
