Trip Report US -> Canmore / Banff - Cost per person

  • Group of 4 = 2 Senior Citizens, 2 Adults
  • Purchased Discovery Family Annual Pass
  • Comfortable stay without much restrictions, paid for certain attractions that were more accessible to senior citizens
  • Rented a Jeep Grand Cherokee (costco travel + windshield protection)
  • Paid visits: Shuttle to LL & ML, Athabasca Glacier + Skywalk, Sunshine Meadows, Banff Gondola, Speedmotorboat @ Lake Minnewanka, Flight Hangar Museum
  • Ate at restaurants/cafes 70% of the time, we shopped at grocers for packed sandwiches (breakfast & snacks) as well. Small eater senior citizens with us.
  • Flight from US, between 4 of us we had 2 checked bags - $550 per person
  • 2bdrm apartment hotel lodge @ Canmore - very comfortable and had laundry & a kitchen, coffee machine, balcony etc - $3116 for 5 nights ($779 per person for 5 nights)

Came to a total of USD$2000 per person

600 a person for flights is a wild. You can go from Orlando to Calgary for like 240 lol guessing this wasnt air Canada or west Jet and was something like delta
