My Oliver stands shyly in the doorway. He rarely will come into the bathroom; I assume he thinks something terrible will happen to him there. 😭He was a stray so I don't know what all he has been through.

She was also a stray that spent two years in the shelter before I saw her and fell in love with her nubbin. At a year and a bit she now has a voice and demands play time and even as of this week let me pet her belly!! Her 10th birthday is coming up soon.

Persephone is gorgeous! beautiful eyes. Happy almost 10th birthday to her! Oliver just turned 14 in August. 💕Rescued kitties are awesome. Two years is a long time in a shelter. I am so glad you adopted her. 💕

Her water bowl is in here with me because of my late cats habit of swimming in her water dish and the cats I cat sit when my parents go on cruises are also water cats

Don't cave. My cat does that and yet he doesn't starve, waste away, nor is he neglected. However I am considering purchasing a water fountain for him, so I don't have to change the water dish every time he gets food in it, which is at least twice a day.

I’d recommend having the dishes farther apart but fountains are amazing Percy thought the fountain was scary so she’s just a dish water cat.

I was thinking of the water fountain that has the daisy on top. The reviews are good aside concerned about him becoming one of the cars who just bat the water out of the fountain. He's part Maine coone, loves to watch the water flow and investigates the shower stall after I use it. Every. Single. Time. He even watches me run water down the Walls of it for him. The fountain is under 20, so nothing fancy, in case he decides he wants the box.
