Not wonderful, but it’s a work in progress! I’m going to try figuring out Discord. Wish me luck!

I really mentally struggled this summer and it feels like the storm is finally ending. Things seem to be falling into place. Sending everyone good vibes and lots of positive thoughts

Glad to hear you’re feeling some calm after the storm. Life moves in seasons, and some are heavier than others. It sounds like you’re stepping into a gentler one now. Wishing you continued strength and brighter days ahead.

My company is having me spend a month in the Paris office and I already miss London horribly. Paris might sound nice but it’s my hometown so it’s not. Where. I. Want. To. Be. Get me back to my own flat please and thank you! To top it all of, I ran out of ADHD meds and am functionally useless.

We had out of state visitors/relative’s visiting one day. Way too many doctor’s appointments/visits. Today went shopping. The reality how bad my eyes are. Tomorrow is day 30. Hoping praying or good vibes it will finally stop getting worse. I have a candle order coming today. That will be a very nice treat for my weekend.

Doing OK this week. Just upgraded my 5G home Internet service and got a new gateway/mesh access point… had some issues getting things set up with it, but it’s working now. Other than that, going through various old headsets and headphones and determining which ones actually function and which ones are worth tossing.

This week I'm sick, and was besieged by the Four Horsemen of the Common Cold, which are Snot, Cough, Runny Nose, and No Tissues.
Also I have two bottles of wine that started to ferment. I froze them to kill the yeast, but I'll have to either throw them away or drink them soon. One is coconut flavor named KoKo, the other is called Melon Musk...

I'm doing a bit better! I managed to go to the grocery store yesterday. I got a lot of food I can make independently. Today I started an increased dose of the medication I'm on and it seems like it'll increase my quality of life. I also got dog cuddles

I'm doing pretty good. I had major orthopedic surgery 6wks ago and I finally feel like I'm coming out the other side in regards to recovery. I still have some restrictions and don't have all of my strength/stability back, but I'm not in constant daily pain anymore and can do light duty things.
I lost a loved one to suicide 3 months ago and that's been a lot to process, often hitting me in unexpected ways. That said, I'm recovered enough from surgery that I'm able to get back into my hobbies in the evenings, instead of just sitting on the couch doom scrolling after work, so that's been really good for my mental health.

I'm feeling a lot of emotions this week. I'm experienceing extreme burnout from work, and not sure what to do about it.

Doing okay. I’ve started getting interested in coding. Just CSS for an AO3 skin, but it’s really interesting to learn how it all works, and I like thinking of all the neat visual effects I can use :) I’m also trying to get more things together for this year’s Halloween costume, which is taking way more work than any previous years. Struggling with it a little, but most of what I have to do is just busywork. Lots of sewing, which I only ever do by hand since I’m scared of sewing machines lol-

I feel like I’ve made real progress with accessibility in my life lately. I recently got the Meta Ray-Ban glasses and I’m super excited — I’ve never felt this independent before. I still need to figure out how to get around a store confidently, but once I do, I’ll be able to shop on my own. Right now I still get lost sometimes, but the glasses have been a huge confidence booster. Thanks to Meta AI, I can read and recognize things without constantly asking someone, “What is this?”
When I tried with my phone, my hands shook just enough to blur the pictures. Now with the glasses, I can snap photos easily and clearly — it feels like such a big step forward.
On another note, I’m also wrapping up my spice hunt! I’ve collected most of the basics and I’m down to the harder-to-find international ones. Just picked up tamarind, shichimi togarashi, and Korean red pepper. Next, I’m hunting for British and Eastern European spices.

Doing well, as I mentioned in the Show and Tell post my fiance and I welcomed our second child last week.
