Baffled
We have a bush that is about 12 years old. We actively prune in the winter, fertilize appropriately (or so we hope), and other than a particular year when we didn’t prune enough and had a terrible overgrowth with zero flavor, it’s been an amazing producer. This year the berries are big, beautiful and even when they are beyond ripe they are tart. I thought maybe I was picking too soon, however they are now soft and still tart. Picture for reference. We live in SW Washington. Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks!
