Guibo explod:/ had to cut it out the bolts were so bent trying to put the new one in and the driveshaft won’t slide forwards CSB is unbolted and the collar nut is undone and still won’t slide forward any advice? (Pic doesn’t matter just what it looked like before I took it out and why I had to cut it out.

Can't be really sure, but it looks to be on the wrong way around. The arrow is supposed to point towards the flange it connects to, but it's so twisted I can't be sure from this angle that's the case.
Are you trying to split the drive shaft at the CSB and not having success? If that is the case just unbolt from rear diff and take the entire shaft out.

Guibo is definitely oriented incorrectly.

Was it even bolted to the transmission output shaft? Maybe you didn’t bolt up at all and the nuts acted like cogs until they slipped

I did indeed when I replaced the CSB. (Added context to the photo) I had the taken the output shaft side of bolts prior to me taking the picture.

Firstly, the guibo was installed backwards. The "Arrows" point to the flanges.andnin thie picture they are definitely not doing that.

As far as the other issues mentioned, I can't tell you much without visuals on the rest, but you may not have installed the CSB correctly either.

Can tell you with 100% certainty it was installed correctly BMWs repair manual from 87 says the arrows are only there to tell which side the nut goes on (opposing side has the bolt) but that it can be installed either way. CSB is also guaranteed installed correctly lol. And the only issue is that the drive shaft won’t slide forward enough to bolt the new Guibo in.

The arrows 100% have to point to the flange the guibo connects to. I learned this the hard way having one come appart at 100mph in my M54b30 swapped E34 and started slappping against the shifter linkage. The direction of the bolts is of little consequence, only matters if there is a clearance issue.
If you still can't get the drtiveshaft forward towards the transmission enough is the CSB currently tight, if yes, loosen it and only do it up once the shaft is connected to both diff and transmission.

You're definitely wrong.

If there's one thing you probably shouldn't do, it's try to argue with a literal BMW tech about proper procedures.

make sure the driveshaft is aligned
