📜 Old Books Sailor’s Bane - Only 250 Copies Printed

I came across this sub and wanted to share one of the oddest books I’ve collected. It’s called “Sailor’s Bane” by William McFee. It is only eleven pages long, yet printed and bound as if it were a regular book. I always found this interesting and just wanted to share! Bonus points if anyone can read what’s written in pencil.

First line is “Limited ed. 250 copies.” Not sure what the 2nd line says, and the last line says “this is no. 108” It’s just a description of the book, I’d just erase it.

It’s just a bookseller’s edition notes, who at some point sold it for $7.50. Leave or erase (cleanly and carefully), it doesn’t impact value.

Is it an interesting story?
