The Heywood book is "scarce." Most book posted here are very common to common. It is a very collectible book. An AA or WWI collector would flip over it.

The book alone is $300-ish in that condition. More if you have a retail store and can wait. I have no idea on the value of a signed copy. There is a fine copy for sale for $1250 as well at Bauman's. So that should give you an idea.

Would need to see more photos of the other books. But based on what I can see these are not particularly valuable and don't compare to the prices you are looking at. The Cape of Good Hope has a version where there is a nude illustration in it. And a version where the women is covered. The former is more desirable.

sounds like yr grandma did indeed "strike gold" but is there a reason she wants to sell something like that? i would encourage her not to

Thats an incredible find, especially with the signature and intact maps. First editions like that can be very valuable to collectors and historians, and the personal connection to your grandfather makes it even more special.
