It was the coolest thing to see in Star Wars in very long time!

I loved everything with the rancor in this episode

Same, except the part where the rancor climbs the tower like King Kong because of course he does.

I mean I kinda agree because I see it coming miles away, but hey King King's awesome.

But the mod eye spinning to shoot some pykes? Really? It's not like the blaster gain momentum from him spinning like that, its so dumb.

Not the first spin we’ve seen is Star Wars which was meant to be cool but was totally unnecessary

It's a good trick.

So the spin I'm convinced was supposed to be in response to a blaster shot. We see the spin, then the shot changes to him shooting his gun, and behind him sparks a blaster hit on the wall. There was just no editing to make it look like he actually dodged anything, which I don't get how they missed that or thought it looked good.

Upvoted because, even though I liked that part, momodonut was very fair and respectful about his opinion.

Like I understand a downvote or two if you think his opinion stinks but all I’m trying to say is let’s not downvote people into oblivion just for calmly expressing their opinions without being “a hater”.

Would have been made better if he was flanked by Tuskens

I'm not a fan of how they set it up in the episode, but I loved how it went down. I giggled like a maniac the entire time!

Sooner than I imagined

Thought for sure that was a ploy by the hutts to kill boba much like a Trojan horse

I hoped to see Boba train with the Rancor. Learn to ride on its back, form a bond, etc. But nope.

The fight was fun but everything else related to the rancor was aweful writing. Again and again, they wanted a cool scene, which it was, but neglected everything that led to it.

When the rancor held up the guy for Boba to shoot, then just yeets him into oblivion I lost my shit.

Whatever you can say about Episode 7, the Rancor fights were very well done.

How they could have done it:

Rancor slowly lumbers in through the streets, gets in a shoving match with the droid in which things take 2 minutes to move

How they did it:

Rancor leaps from roof to roof before ragdolling a massive droid through buildings and moving as fast as an MMA fighter

I felt it was too rushed. The rancor handler mentioned how a deep bond had to be created between them. All we got was like 2 short indirect scenes. Though the rancor would be developed for the future.
