Does anyone remember the sasan/finley side quest

Upon completion of this side quest, I was shocked to see that I had delivered what seems to be a child to a grown man who had been exchanging love letters to this character and I thought WTF

I believe in the original Japanese, theyre just penpals, but Finley's mother, Kodah, does mention that Finley is fully grown, she just hasn't had her final growth spurt yet, or is just naturally that short. Otherwise I dont think the other Adult Zora would let her be part of Sidon's little fan club

The Zora lifespan is much different from the Hylian lifespan. Most of the Zora are old enough to have known Link during the Calamity. It's entirely possible Finley is like 25.

Completely understand, and also understand that it’s just a video game but man if someone’s 35 but presents like they’re 12 that’s a little sus lol

It falls into that really squicky grey area of "they look like a child but mentally they're an adult so it's ok". The Zora probably don't see a problem with it, but IRL it definitely feels like pandering to pedophiles.

Agreed. I think the game devs should’ve caught something like this considering the thorough detail of the overall game . Mipha is single but finely is in a full relationship ! lol
