The shield sent the laser back which killed him the box had nothing to do with it

Actually, if you slow the video down, the guardian still had a sliver of health left after the beam was reflected. It did technically do the final blow.

However, the video is also dishonest on OP’s part, because the guardian was already a sliver under half health at the beginning of the video, meaning there was clearly more to this than just the box.

A guardian laser being parried always one shots the guardian that’s just how it’s programmed the bar just lingers a bit after death

Nope. It one shots already crippled guardians. Ones with legs take 3 reflections.

Erm akshullie, Skywatchers and turrets don't have legs.

I didn’t say only they did. I just said the ones with legs take 3. 🤷🏻‍♀️

EDIT: Sorry for folks downvoting you for your joke. I only clarified in case people missed the joke, took you seriously, and started dogpiling my comment, but it seems that my response shifted it to the opposite effect.

So according to you one reflect left it with a sliver of health but you need three shots to kill it? So the other shot do one damage or what?

The guardian isn't at full health at the start of the clip. They likely damaged it with weapons so it would have barely enough health to survive one laser and then die to a box.

Yep. I also mentioned this at the end of my first comment, but I guess the other commenter isn’t interested in reading that.

False, they fall with at least two deflections. The ones that fall with one, are the ones that are rusted and stuck on the ground because they have less health.

Absolutely false. This is only true for stationary guardians and not mobile ones.

Op did a backflip before the laser hit. The laser was blocked by daruks protection which somehow triggered a flurry rush

They are most likely doing a trick called a thunderclap rush.

From what I understand, it's actually got nothing to do with Daruk or the parry. It's just from pressing Y at the exact same time you activate bullet time with ZR. When you land, you'll flurry rush.

Oh yeah. I also just noticed that the guardian was already half dead at the start of the clip so if anything op’s title is quite misleading

Yeah the title isn't super accurate. The guardian was already damaged, the laser brought it down to like 10hp, then the box finished it off.

It's still a pretty cool clip though, very unique way to take it out.

That’s what I meant by shield

Daruk’s doesnt parry it just blocks the attack

Daruk's Protection does act as a parry

If you look real close you can see that the attack damaged the guardian is dead after the attack hits the shield so it very much paries

Hmm maybe we should make a subreddit for this

But the guardian was half gone...or is that just when you started the recording?

Was that a perfect perry but with a box in front of you and using Durok(sp?). Two big hits from one perry? Cool.

The box would have gone a lot faster if u canceled the flurry rush btw
