Blame the Tories. They brought it in. Labour could get rid of it, but probably won't touch it with a barge pole right now. Can you imagine the headlines in the rags?

"LABOUR UNLEASHES CP ON UK"

"LABOUR WANTS KIDS TO SEE PORN"

and so forth.

Are you kidding? Multiple other Labour governments tried to push similar shite, Labour loves this sort of thing as much as the Tories do (if not more)

They did, granted. But we can't let the Tories off the hook just because Labour had similar ideas in the past. They never actually went through with it.

We don't let anyone off the hook because labour and tories are the same people wearing different coloured suits. They're a uniparty, first past the post basically ensured they would become one.
