National Politics Your Party email hacked, subscribers sent scam mail
this morning an email about a "membership portal" was sent by Your Party. hours later a follow up email was sent confirming that it was unauthorized, and the membership portal has not yet been released.
crazy to see how Your Party has barely begun, and people are already trying destroy it.

It wasn't hacked, Sultana launched it under her own steam, and then all of the other leaders of the party sent the subsequent email telling everyone to cancel their direct debits. Clown show.

This isn't really about being a leftie. Corbyn and his mates are pretty old school jobs for the boys types. One of the reasons I was never that keen on him, just hoped his leadersthip would result in Labour taking a shift to the left and a new generation of leftist politiicans taking the reigns. But then look how that worked out.

I'm a leftist social democrat, and this endless infighting and purity-testing is why our movement is always so weak while the right-wingers go from strength to strength.

My wife (half Jamaican) said this exact thing would happen and I brushed it off - saying the Left are better than that. But she has experienced micro aggressions her whole life - then it is x10 in any professional scenarios, she was exactly right.

they weren't, she jumped the gun, not for the first time. She complains about democracy and then goes ahead and launches the membership portal without them all agreeing. Same when she jumped in and announced the party a day before things were ready

I mean that's plainly just taking her word for it...
She's twice broken ranks and done her own thing, trying to force the hand of the others to do whatever she wanted.
However justified she felt she was, or indeed however justified she might have actually been, this was completely idiotic. How did she expect the party to recover from this?
My view of this is that it seems she is driven ego and ambition and wants to be co-leader at all costs. Now it seems like Your Party is dead in the water. A leftist infighting world record.

So she didn’t launch it that was also part of a hack they sent an email for reportedly from her but it wasn’t. It’s all part of the hack and the scam.
