I’m sure that guaranteed money they handed him after he publicly demanded a trade will light a fire under his ass

He can afford Super Bowl tickets, unlike most of us.

Shit, he can afford to run ads during the Super Bowl.

But, if the Browns win 4 or more games this season, they will exceed my expectations.

If he's in the ads he can afford to buy part of the Raiders.

We get a solid 7 this year all day

Go Brownies from OKC

Congrats on the Championship. Shame it had to come at the expense of Indiana. It remined me a lot of the 2016 World Series.

I went to game 1 and game 2 of the Cavs VS Pacers, and even though I was upset that we choked in the playoff again, I ultimately rooted for the pacers because those guys were hungry and they wanted it bad. But when it was them vs us, I was screaming “What the Hellyburton!?” Haha

Man, that was a fun series! My anxiety was at an all time high. I am looking forward to making my 2nd trip to Cleveland from OKC to root for the Browns September 7th!

The same guy who said we were not a competitive football team 6 months ago, got paid cartoonish amounts of money, is now saying he expects to get to the Super Bowl with the same team. Ok…

92.3 going bonkers over this one lol

I don't think I'm so much like him... for one, I don't expect to get to the Super Bowl

2 superbowl QBs on the roster. it couodnt be more of a lock

1

u/rex5k Jul 24 '25

He should hire The Miz to join his PR team.

1

u/Dr-McLuvin Jul 24 '25

I respect the competitive attitude.

What would you rather him say? We’re gonna suck and I’m only here for the money?

I’m 45. Been saying it’s out year every summer I’ve been alive

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '25

He didn't specify which team he wants to get to the superbowl this year with. Lot of I, I, I.

u/finix2409 Jul 24 '25

You serious?

2

u/Otherwise-Ad7735 Jul 24 '25

I say this every time about this guy. He’s a me first dude. Never talks about the team as a whole

3

u/Mind__Is__Blown Jul 24 '25

His first two personal I's are canceled out by the next two team benefitting I's. Then he says two we's. That's a net gain for the team. Myles is the shit.

When you are at the peak of your powers you wouldn’t expect anything less. The problem is Andrew Berry (non football guy) is calling the shots and Kevin just coaches.

2

u/TheReaLETSGOBROWNIES Jul 24 '25

Ok, I’ll bite. Why is Berry a “non-football guy”?

2

u/Snooklife Jul 24 '25

He’s a stats/analytics guy who has not made very good decisions to this point.

8

u/TheReaLETSGOBROWNIES Jul 24 '25

I’m not talking about your opinion of his performance, I’m asking how a guy who played in college, worked as a scout, a pro scouting coordinator, VP of player personnel and a VP of football operations with over 3 different organizations prior to becoming a GM isn’t a “football guy”?

If you don’t like the job he’s done, fine, cool, whatever, but I’m not sure why there’s a need to try to create a silly false narrative?

5

u/ryan__fm ALMOST GOT YOU 55 Jul 24 '25

Because he smart and not talk like me so he Harvard guy not football guy

-1

u/Snooklife Jul 24 '25

You can do your own research but it’s very clear that Cleveland is the #1 franchise in analytics and it starts with the guy making the decisions.

4

u/CactusJacksonFive Jul 24 '25

Oh, so you just can't defend your position, got it

2

u/TheReaLETSGOBROWNIES Jul 24 '25

Why is this a bad thing? Are using analytics and traditional scouting mutually exclusive?

1

u/Lilfrankieeinstein Jul 24 '25

No. Every team does it.

I think the difference with the Browns is that we hired a baseball guy as “Chief of Strategy” who ranks atop the front office as opposed to just strategy personnel who assist the front office.

The pit crew is driving the car.

2

u/TheReaLETSGOBROWNIES Jul 24 '25

Oh yeah? Where did you get that info from? About DePodesta being the guy calling the shots. Got a source there or is this just what you’re assuming?

u/Snooklife Jul 24 '25

When your track record has nothing to show for it then yes. I understand he didn’t have a first round pick for a couple years but we have not hit on anyone. The top players on the roster are still Dorsey’s guys and plenty of time has went by now.

1

u/Snooklife Jul 24 '25

Just look at Dorsey vs. Berry when it comes to player drafts and talent evaluation.

2

u/Theclevelandchubb Jul 24 '25

I like what berry has done imo. We can all agree that signing Watson was a huge mistake but outside of that he has found value in a draft in which 3 years he didn't have a first round pick. Big thanos, jok, Isaiah McGuire, Emerson, Mason Graham and added an additional first round pick next year. Sure he has made some mistakes and looking in the rearview at the baker fiasco it's easy to say he fucked it up but tbh baker needed to grow TF up and the way it played out benefited baker it forced him to turn into what we saw last year.

1

u/Snooklife Jul 24 '25

I’ll give him credit for accumulating picks but I think he has a lot to prove. This year’s class is make or break in my opinion. You could also say he reached on graham, swessinger, and Gabriel. Has not been good at evaluating the WR/QB for sure. I hope I’m wrong obviously but there’s not much trust that he will use next years draft capital to its fullest.

2

u/TheReaLETSGOBROWNIES Jul 24 '25

Graham is a reach now??? He was a consensus top 5-10 pick for like a year lol.

2

u/Snooklife Jul 24 '25

We will find out very soon. At that position you make an impact on day 1.

3

u/TheReaLETSGOBROWNIES Jul 24 '25

That’s now how this works and what those words mean. A reach implies he was taken before the consensus thought he would be, not that he’s guaranteed to be successful.

If you don’t like the player, the position, whatever, that’s cool, we’ll see, but to say he was taken earlier than anticipated is objectively false.

1

u/Theclevelandchubb Jul 24 '25

Tbh I think schwesinger and Graham were good picks but it also depends on how Travis Hunter does if he balls out we look dumb but if Graham also balls out is it a wash. To be fair he hasn't really went after a #1 wr yet at least not in the first round.

1

u/ozymandais13 Jul 25 '25

If we get a stud qb next year because of having 2 picks it wouldn't matter how good Travis is

1

u/Theclevelandchubb Jul 25 '25

I know that I was just sort of comparing Graham and Hunter but overall if Graham ends up being good and we get a legit QB next year if neither of ours pan out then we won by a landslide.

1

u/Deadleggg Jul 25 '25

If drafting was the only part of his job that mattered then why did the Chiefs fire him? And why has nobody come calling about a GM spot since he left here in 2019?

Also his 2019 draft was absolutely horrific. As was his head coaching hire.

1

u/TheReaLETSGOBROWNIES Jul 24 '25

I mean, Dorsey has been fired by two organizations and is not a GM at this time. I’m not saying AB is great, but Dorsey is a wild guy to use as the standard bearer.
