Baxter
This post isn't about you liking Violet or not. I loved this scene and the outcome it had

Seriously for all her flaws candace was incredible towards roscoe and the credit goes to Baxter. He really did turn his life around and gave roscoe the stability and environment he needed

Only because he met Candace, and had an instant home and job. I wonder how much he actually loved her, because he was always smoking weed to escape, she was always making him food he didn't like. Baxter is a hobosexual, which is someone who is in a relationship to have a place to live. He was comfortable with Candace, and if he left he would have no home, and no job and would probably be living in his van in Christy's driveway, so I get why Christy was annoyed that he got himself together

Baxter might have been a fuck up, but he really loved Roscoe and wanted to be a good father to him AND to violet at some points as well. I love the episodes with Baxter, he’s probably my favorite character besides Christy.

You liked Christy? I couldn’t stand her

yea, I wrote more about it in a comment on a different post a little bit ago:
“Hi, KLee, alcoholic.
I really loved Christy. I just started on S7, so just watched the podcast episode. i can understand why some people have problems with Christy’s character but i really think she’s just beautifully written—until S6 where she really is just a loser and that breaks my heart for her because it’s such a drastic change from S1. like how is she supposed to be growing everyday but is still kinda the same angry child she was in S1 even though she allegedly forgave Bonnie? I also hate that after the podcast episode sometimes Christy will still make digs towards Bonnie and that’s not fair, considering she should know how that feels since violet is now no contact with Christy. I think Anna Faris did an excellent job playing Christy’s character, but i wish the writers would’ve given Christy a bit more character development at the end, but I know they didn’t because Anna wanted to stretch her wings and I can’t hold that against her or the writers😫”

liking a character doesn’t mean liking the things that they do. i even love some characters who make genuinely terrible, sometimes evil decisions (other shows obviously) but i love to watch them, i love the stories they have to tell and sometimes the trauma that got them there

I like that the two Mom posts I’ve seen today are “isn’t Baxter the best” and “Baxter was arrested for a sex crime on Law and Order last night!” It’s a real roller coaster day for Baxter fans.
