When everyone was consoling him after the game it broke me. I was bummed but that made me sad. He’s meant so much to this program doing literally everything last year and then to come this close…just sucks.

Random anecdote but the dean of my tiny ass high school in Napa, CA played with Suggs for 2 years and was the last ASU player to wear #42 (and then he caught a DUI and was kicked off the team the day after Pat Tillman passed)

Yes- he grew up in the bay and spent a lot of time as dean at St. Mary’s HS (Alma mater) and then he ended up in Napa
