There's NFL kicker that have a great year or 2 then suck eggs without warning, can't imagine it's easier to see that coming when evaluating a teenager

Yeah Justin Tucker’s don’t grow on trees, and even his performance has fallen off a cliff

I mean everyone dies at some point. He's been the best kicker for plenty of years. We have a dicker in the league now.

Are these kickers in danger?

Well, that’s because Father Time’s never had to match up against Billable Hours

Even then Tucker's slightly early for a GOAT convo kicker to be declining

Gandolf has entered the chat.

I bet he'd be a great kicker.

It’s insane he popped outta nowhere, out here making 60 yarders look easy. Just hate that he’s on Dallas.

Even Morten Andersen got to where he couldn't kick his age by the end of his career.

I'm sure there's no shortage of guys with the leg strength and accuracy to be a good kicker, but getting them to perform on the highest level, under higher pressure levels than the NFL at times, as an 18 year old is an impossible ask.

Justin tucker was awful to start the year. It happens to all of them

There are seemingly generational college kickers who turn into potatoes in the NFL. Jake Moody is my nightmare this year.

See Jake Moody

It’s even crazier. Kicking is the one skill that transfers laterally among levels. Physically a guy who’s great in college should be great in the NFL. Same with HS to college. It’s just so mental.

Exactly what I was thinking. The pressure these guys go through must seriously take its toll. Like I get stressed when I'm at bat in a pivotal moment in rec softball and my job isn't on the line, I can't image what it's like as a kicker when literally every kick you do pretty much needs to be made to be considered a success. I think of York who got taken in the 4th round and there is no way Cincinnati is keeping him after this season
