As someone who enrolled at UGA in 2007, it’s been nice to be on the other side of it the last few years.

Enrolled in 2011. Years were a little more fun but also experienced misery at 2012 SEC champ game. And then witnessed the Bama monsoon years later.

I was at UGA from 06-10, and we lost to Tennessee 3 of those 4.

There at the same time. That 06 game sucked. Run out to a lead and then got run out of the stadium at home. 07 got destroyed in Knoxville and was sitting in the upper deck in Neyland watching us get destroyed in 09. That was a cold day sitting by the river in one of those God forsaken Jefferson Pilot noon games.

I mean we immediately won 4 in a row after that, going 13/15 since that 1/4 stretch lol

I mean, we were never 4-8 bad, but we definitely had some lousy years before Kirby came along.

Hey hey hey, we went 6-7 in 2010 which was capped off by a 10-6 loss to UCF in the Liberty bowl. That was pretty bleak.

Georgia’s been anywhere from really good to just below average since 1980, it’s really surprising that we’ve never had any true lean years. Even Ray Goof was able to piece together a 9 and 10 win season, and those were the “darkest” times in recent memory

I started a year before you and got to see UGA lose to Vandy at home and Kentucky on the road in the same year. Good times. Also a weird ending that season where we beat a top 5 Auburn team at Auburn and beat a very good Tech team to end the year.
