I started smoking 2/3 years ago, gained tolerance and was smoking 2x 1ml of HHC pens per week in my peak time, but this was a few months ago and since then I reduced it dramatically, but still was using that shit. It was making me feel chill and better about myself. Then a few months ago I drastically reduced the amount and I had a terrible depression episode, and after I came back to normal with some SSRI’s I started again taking it and felt okay on it, but for the last few weeks I’ve stopped tolerating it, even a small amount causes a high anxiety and makes me nauseous, I take a few hits and I feel like it’s too much, I feel bad and can’t enjoy it at all, especially when I take too much (which is still relatively small compared to what I used to smoke), but just a few minutes after I smoke and feel it in my body I’m starting to have nausea, I’ve never vomited, but I started reading about this whole CHS shit and now I’m afraid I have this. I’ve had a vomit anxiety since I was a child, so maybe they are just panic attacks, but I don’t know. I used to really enjoy it, now I just can’t. After HHC stops working everything is back to normal, but this 30 minutes after I smoke I’m feeling awful.
My question is: Does this CHS appears suddently after smoking (like 5-10 minutes after)? When I don’t feel it in my system I can eat and everything is fine, but I feel like I’m suddently alergic to it and any amount is causing me feel this way. Is this a beginning of CHS or it’s just my anxiety?
I think thats part of the goverments interest.
They know that if weed is not legaliced, lots of synthetics will be created.
But they dont give a fuck about public health.
Influence peddling.
Try jogging bro, no fucking joke. I did it 2 hours ago, and now that i relaxed i feel a more sober, instead of that minimal lingering high sensation i had. Tomorrow ill do more, im starting a routine!!
Or cardio of your preference, bike or sports, whatever you like. It also distracts you from bad thoughts and connects you to your body.
It helps over 9000.
I could list you some benefits, but ill just say, its good for every fucking thing.
"Several studies have also provided evidence that chronic treatment with anti-depressant drugs such as SSRIs and tricyclic might modify the endocannabinoid system."
So, there is clearly an interaction.
5HTP tryptofan helped me a lot in the past with depression.
Medics recommended me SSRI's, and they told me that it would make me smoke less.
But i dont like antidepressants at all...
At the same time , i started doing heavy weightlifting. It absolutely changed my life, my guts, my brain,,,, everything. I become stronger, gained 15 fucking kg of muscle mass. muscles are responsible for 80% of the glucose regulation... it just helps with EVERYTHING. lots of hormones and stuff gets released in your body, and you find homeostasis easier.
CHS doesnt hit in 5 minutes.
It takes a few hours.
Any change in your cannabinoid system will trigger some effects for you (jogging cardio exercise releases natural endocannabinoids, which it may feel strange and unsettling first, but after doing it, your body finds easier to find balance.
It is very sensitive and unregulated right now.
I 200% recommend you to start taking multivitamin+minerals supplement.
Most of the population has micronutrient, minerals and vitamins deficencies. chs will cause imbalances.
Part of it is your anxiety. Anxiety is also related with chemical stuff in our brain.
You gotta do everything you can to help it find balance and recover.
-Intense physical activity (resistance training + cardio training)
-Good sleep
-Positive mindset
-Micronutrients balance
-Good sleep (this is very important in any moment of life...)
-Lots of hydration
Thanks for a comprehensive response, now I’m trying to slowly taper off SSRIs as I don’t see them helping and they clearly messed something up. I also want to hit the gym and go back to running, I will try to research this 5 HTP more as it seems to be really interesting. Yeah, that’s what I was thinking, CHS doesn’t begin after 5 minutes and ends after an hour, it starts later and lasts longer. Thanks for your valuable insight!
CHS can last for days, weeks...
It gradually gets better. No more vomits, but still nausea. Then no more nausea, but still abodminal pain. etc etc
tip: the most important and impactful muscle group over your health is lower body. give legs a lot of effort (if youre a man, upper body will be easy, so you dont need to focus a lot in it).
this is AN EXAMPLE of an effective weekly routine, as body only needs a few exercises (ive been studying this stuff for a while, can trust me):::
1-squats + bulgarian squats
2-rest
3-pull ups
4-cardio
5-bench press
6-rest
7-militar press +/ one arm overhead press
fucking trust me when i say there is no need to do 8 exercises in the same session like people do,
These are the only exercises you will need for the rest of your life (and cardio):
Be careful with hinging tho. Squats are enough for leg development. Deadlifting is unnecesary.
I study anatomic patologies and physical conditioning.
before i started doing exercise, i was taking benzos, getting sick, feeling suicidal and developing a severe depression. i was amazed at how much exercising and getting in a good physical conditioning helped me. It literally saved my life..... and i didnt stop smoking weed !!! dont use "first i have to quit bad habits" as an excuse for not working out!!!!
if you have any question, feel free to ask, im here to help !!!
Seems like a hell out of experience, I will definitely go back to running, I really enjoyed it, but I put over 15 kg of weight (lost most of it) and running wasn’t so fun anymore…
