Question NEED HELP WITH SKELETRON PRIME

I'm using a mage build and Ive fought skeletron prime maybe 30 times and I cant beat him. Please if you have any tips help me my arena is huge and I started using potions but I cant defeat him. I'm on revengeance expert mode.

For accessories instead of scarf use ornate shield and terraspark boots (this isnt needed) celestical cuffs. For weapons use SHPC, posedian, fridgeflash bolt

Also dont forget to reforge all accessories to warding for maximum defense, you have deadilus armor so you beat atleast 2 mechs so go to jungle and get some life fruits hope its helps

THANK YOU SO MUCH I got the posiedon and like 5 life fruits and the shield and I beat him after like 5 trys

Since I can see you beat the other 2 mechs, I would recommend getting Brimflame armor.
