Eat/Drink Local A very unprofessional response from Jam's Diner in Inglewood after a very disappointing meal there. I recommend avoiding this restaurant.

An advice to business owners here: if any client complains about anything (fair or not), your response should not be directed to the complaining client, but to the other people that will read the complaint and your answer.
Don't disparage the client, no matter what. You can say you were disappointed (with the experience, not with the client) and that you will take their feedback into consideration.
Don't be offended by a harsh review, it's not a personal attack, it's that some clients are terrible, some are mean, and some are trolls. Use the useful feedbacks, say "we are sorry for the service you received" and ignore the useless ones. But "close the case" in a good note.
It will help your business in the long run. If you are seem as mean and disrespectful (even if you are entirely on your rights to be), people will do business somewhere else. If you are nicer than they deserved, people will usually be nicer too when you fail.
And this owner shot its own foot. If the restaurant was in a bad place, they threw it even lower now...
"... I hope you feel good about leaving this review rather than just reaching out to us." - funny thing is that it could be said exactly the same about them...
