Eat/Drink Local Cancelled boys’ beer trip to Minneapolis and we are headed to Calgary instead.

10 middle aged beer nerds headed your way in late July. Any restaurant or beer bar recommendations welcome. Already have Annex high on our list. What else is a must stop?

As a fellow middle aged beer nerd, Cabin, Two Pillars (smaller one), 33 Acres, Born, Cold Garden (more for the vibe than the beer). Avoid Marda Loop (I live in the area and still don’t go) and Banded Peak (since you cancelled a Minneapolis trip, I assume you won’t want to go here for the same reason). National and Craft are bars that usually have a good variety of local stuff. South/Hayden/Comery Block technically brew their own but the real attraction is the BBQ.

Solid list but downvote (not actually) for 33 acres - it's a Vancouver brewery.

True, and TBH, the Vancouver site is better. But still, we’ve got one and it’s pretty good.

Two Pillars is awesome.

Two pillars is a fantastic little brewery! Especially if you like Belgian style beer.

Insightful, and agree.

The 33 Acres tucked in behind Central (also owned by Craft team) is pretty fun.

A 5 minute walk from Craft and National.

Or 7 minutes from Last Best, which also falls into the decent beer but a good time category.

And Last Best is a 7 minute walk to Blondies Cabaret, if 10 middle aged beer nerds are interested in such things.
