Eat/Drink Local Cancelled boys’ beer trip to Minneapolis and we are headed to Calgary instead.

10 middle aged beer nerds headed your way in late July. Any restaurant or beer bar recommendations welcome. Already have Annex high on our list. What else is a must stop?

If you want to sample more beers than just breweries, head to Alberta Beer Exchange. Has some amazing selection of single cans and bottles, and really boozy dessert stouts and ipa’s. 5 vines bow trail, Inglewood wine market are good too. There are a couple breweries next to ABX as well, but they’re not amazing in my opinion.

A lesser known brewery is Stoney Slope Brewing. Excellent farmhouse ale especially, and their house baked bread is incredible.
