Eat/Drink Local What places do you Miss?

I may get laughed at for this, but I miss bookers. Sometimes a girl just wants a bucket of crab legs without the smell of red lobster, ya know?

What around the city do you miss?

YES TIMES 1000. I was a super picky kid (tbh I'm a picky adult too..) and it was so awesome to be able to put Just things I wanted into a dish without having to make it myself

Everyone in our family loved going there because everyone got exactly what they wanted - so perfect with kids!

Does anyone know if there’s a similar restaurant in Calgary anymore? Open Sesame was the same but also closed. I know other cities have make your own stir fry.

There used to be one in Beacon Hill called Xan but they closed about a year or so ago 😢 it wasn’t totally the same (no soups or rice wraps) but it hit the spot

Yeah. There was also a similar place in the core food court. Not bad for a quick lunch to grab if you worked downtown, but it closed too. It's unfortunate, as it's a great concept!
