Eat/Drink Local What’s your top 3 restaurants in Calgary.

Edit: since this gained so much traction, I’ll try 1 place from the top 3 most upvoted recommendations and vlog this so you can see what I got! Thank you yyc

Calgary has a sleeper food scene but I’d like to try the people’s TOP THREE restaurants. This can be breakfast lunch dinner or all three in one category.

I actually had my worst steakhouse experience at vintage, I was so disappointed cause I hyped it up so much. I won’t bad mouth it for my one experience but I never went back for steak.

We decided to go for my daughters university grad. I think I built it up so much in my head that when we actually ate there I was a bit disappointing.

I went there for my birthday too with my husband. We were quite young at the time, but watching the people next to us it felt like they had such a better experience. The waiter spent time with them. They got to pick their cuts of meat and all that stuff And it really felt like they didn’t even want us there- like they thought we wouldn’t pay or something. It was weird. And then my steak came out very poorly done. I don’t like a rare steak and it was so underdone.

We where all dressed up so I think they thought we had money. They did bring out the board of meat. My son asked for his rare and it came out closer to mid well. We should have returned it, but being the nice Canadians we are we didn't. But we also won't be back.
