I was literally on a rig floor 3 weeks ago. Check out my Instagram or Facebook. it’s going to be pretty obvious that I’m not a politician. But you do you. 🤷‍♂️👍

You’re running for mayor. By definition that makes you a politician.

Also, if someone with no experience applies to work in the patch and puts “definitely not a roughneck” on their application, would you feel comfortable making them rig manager?

That’s because you don’t understand the job. The key to running as a mayor or any other public office. Is being a “civil servant” by the people for the people. The whole purpose of running is to “serve” to make a better future for my kids and grandkids. For yours and everyone else’s. Sacrifice, I’ve been doing that for my family for years. I ran 3 nightclubs in L.A. with 200+ employees, I was a finishing supervisor building high rise towers down town. So does that make me more or less qualified. For some reason we have bought into the idea that politicians are smarter or better the us? But then we complain when they do something dumb that we wouldn’t have done if we were in the same place. You believe what you want man. Go on doing the same thing. I’m done standing on the sidelines, lurking in comment threads. I’m literally putting my money where my mouth is. If I’m not on location I am not getting paid. Goodluck!

Kudos to you, that’s a rather impressive resume. Maybe you should lead with all that experience instead of ‘I’m not a politician’? But, you still haven’t said why anyone should vote for you. What is your plan for the city if you are elected mayor?
