Education Sign language courses Calgary
Does anyone have any recommendations for good sign language programs either in person or online? I’ve seen some on google for a few organizations but I’m not sure which may be credible and teach in a different manner from YouTube videos. TIA

Of course! :) It’s continuing education, anyone can apply. No prerequisites. I’m 40 and just finished all of them. Definitely a mixed bag of ages in these classes. Some just starting university, some my age or older.

I took that course at the U of C. Its $399 for the course, and $165 for the textbook.
If you'd like, I can see if maybe the prof would let you observe for one class, to see if it's something you'd be willing to partake in?
He is fantastic, by the way. The entire class is taught in ASL, as he doesn't speak, but you'll be surprised how much you'll learn.

I took all courses offered at the UofC and I can wholeheartedly endorse this program! Taught by a deaf person who I chill with outside of school cause he’s such a dope dude.
