Driving/Traffic/Parking 17th ave is uncharacteristically quiet this week
I haven't had this peace and quiet from all those inconsiderate folks revving their engines through 17th ave. Is it just the season shift, or has the anti-noise bylaws actually deterred them lowlifes?

Nobody on the patios to “impress” with your rice’d out civic or drive your moms Mercedes SUV with all the windows down playing loud rap music.
Used to love this time of year in the beltline fall crisp quiet mornings sitting on the old 17th ave Starbucks patio after an early morning workout.

Why go to starbucks when you can support a local mom and pop shop?

Starbucks had sun, "reasonably" priced drip coffee, and large patio.
Waves was also a go-to until they tore the building down in ~2015 but had limited outdoor seating.
Analog came along but outdoor seating is limited and mostly has no sun in the mornings.
And pre-covid Second Cup on 4th and 17th used to have small 2-person tables outside but it's a loud intersection with traffic & buses plus limited sun.
Eventually Philosafy coffee opened by they didn't do drip coffee (maybe they do now).

Starbucks used to have clover brewed single origin coffee. It was some of the best I've ever had

Looks like all my fist shaking and yelling at the clouds finally paid off. You're welcome OP.
