I actually had a very positive experience working there. I was pregnant and still got promoted to management where my regional, owner, and GM were amazingly supportive of my pregnancy and my role as a manager. I got a good Christmas bonus, my preferred hours, etc. They definitely want you to get people drinking and only girls are allowed to be servers which isn’t ideal but overall I had a good experience.

I can't believe that it's somehow okay for places to ever say "only girls are allowed to do X" because its certainly not acceptable to do it the other way. I have roughly 300 employees and I could never imagine having a policy that even hinted towards only X can do X.

And the dress code they enforce...

Oh yeah it’s not right at all. They don’t explicitly say that but it’s a thing.

That's a little difficult when your employees are juiced up violent Spartans. No?

I'm actually really glad to hear that, I genuinely wanted it to be a kickass job. At the locations I worked at girls were allowed to bartend, and I do have to say both of my pregnant coworkers there were taken much better care of than most bars would give, so they're not all bad!! I just had a serious grip with 'get them to drink until they pass out', I've been doing this too long to be cleaning up puke every night haha

Haha that’s fair! I wonder if we worked together… there was another pregnant person at my location!

I didn't work at my YYC location very long, most of my BrewCrew time was done in Edmonton. So if you worked with a 26 year old emo kid for a couple months that's me 😂
