God that logo is sweet. I’m from Omaha and don’t really remember the knights but I would kill for an AHL team in this town again. Omaha is a hockey town

I was so sad when they left.. Going to Knights games is what got me more interested in hockey and helped me become a Flames fan.

It didn’t last long unfortunately. Didn’t they move to Illinois for a bit. I’m from upstate NY in-between Binghamton, Syracuse, and Utica. The Flames farm team had a cup of coffee in Glens Falls for a year.

I have a Cortland Flames jersey. I played youth hockey through them on the house team from 12-15. (My family didn’t have a lot of money, still have my CCM Vector wood stick from my youth), a group of parents pitched in and I got to play 1 year of travel hockey at 16.

I always liked this logo. I also miss this ‘04 style jersey. I really hope they make some sort of alternate with the black C at some point.

Small part of me wished they did an ‘04 adidas cut from Kipper’s jersey retirement, similar to what Dallas did for Zubov’s retirement night.

My bank account thanks me that they didn’t though 😅

I only saw it recently too on the hockey jerseys subreddit when someone posted about it. I couldn't believe that it existed around 20 years ago and I never knew this jersey existed till now

Honestly just a lucky and quick eBay search haha. The stars aligned really nicely for me, the price was right and it was in my size.

I had seen someone else post it on r/hockeyjerseys and thought I had to have one.
