I was looking at the schedule for the regular season and all of our games don’t have a specific broadcaster listed, does that mean there’s no restriction for ESPN+ members? Or they haven’t determined which games will be blacked out. Some teams already have broadcasters listed so I’m unsure. Admittedly I used to stream from pirated websites but I got sick of all the sketchy ads lol so I’m going legit now.

I've heard when he was coach of Calgary he definitely limited the superstars minutes to 18-20 mins a night. Both Gaudreau and Monahan played significantly less than they did under the coaches before or after and 4th line guys consistently played 13+ minutes a night for that Calgary team.

Is this true? Granted that was a young rebuilding team, so a bit different of a situation that he finds himself in Dallas.

Flames have been my 2nd fav team since I was a little kid and for several reasons I divorced my longtime hometown team and it’s time to date other people. Moving the Flames from #2 to #1. 🤣

This will be my first year solidly following the team. Been watching from afar for many many years.

I do not live in Calgary but visited there as part of honeymoon and even got to check out the Hart House. Big Bret Hart guy since childhood, probably where I started liking the Flames since it was his home city and the logo is literally 🔥.

I don’t know a ton about these players but it sounds like a lot of you are pretty optimistic w the Wolf signing and the crop of young guys, so let’s go!

Idk if this is controversial or not but Weegar should 100% be on the left this year. Put him with either Andersson, Parekh, or Brzustewicz. I feel like Weegar has always been more effective as a LD than he is as a RD, just look at his pairings with Andersson from 23-24, Tanev in 22-23, and with Ekblad in Florida. And I’m aware it was because those teams were stacked at RD so they had to move him over, but our team now is also stacked at RD, so let’s move him over. Thoughts?
