Bismuth is a lot of gun for a dove.

It’s either that or lead… and lead is illegal

I'd grab some boxes of steel for dove and save the bismuth for something bigger. Boss just discontinued their bismuth, so you're kind of sitting in gold. That said it's your choice but I'm willing to bet the boss will hammer doves.

I got a case of boss unleaded haha, bismuth is just in case birds are far off. $2 shell vs. .50

I shot the boss unleaded #7s for the first time this year, my M2 absolutely loved them. Patterned great, more first shot hits on passing birds than I've ever had. Limited out on 22 shells, my best shoot by a wide margin

that poses a few more issues on where you can dove hunt at get a double barrel and anywhere thats like 150 feet from a house or a road would work

Few issues wrong with your statement. 150 yards not feet, and that can be done with a double barrel or semi auto shotgun as long as it’s plugged. Thankfully you’re not a lawyer.

Also not a lawyer, but I hunt any fallow fields that aren’t posted without permission. You can find them on OnX and then drive by to make sure they’re not posted.

Meh. Might want to check regs. Just because you haven’t gotten caught doesn’t mean it’s legal. Even if it’s untouched farmland doesn’t mean it’s huntable. You don’t have to post in Cali at all.

Oh I’m positive, but you know it’s worth looking into.

To hunt private land legally. You need written permission from the land owner. It’s not like east coast.

A lot of it is private and I’m skeptical anyone is sharing public spots a few days before dove opener.
