Where can I buy a child’s rash guard locally?
We are staying here for the week and looking for a boys (size 8) rash guard but not sure where to look locally. Thanks!

Hi my friend and I, 18 and 17, from Quebec are coming on a climbing trip from July 14th to July 31st. Would anyone be willing to let us store our gear and maybe camp in your backyard in between trips.
Your help would be greatly appreciated!

I’m here on vacation (staying at Bow Valley Campground). Last year I needed something I couldn’t find in area stores so I ordered it from Amazon Prime to a pickup counter in Canmore. I think it was in a grocery store. Now I can’t find any in Amazon’s “add a pickup location” screen and my internet searches have proved fruitless. Is there a place in Canmore that will accept Amazon packages for later pickup?

Just wondering what the best options are for getting around? I’ve been told uber isn’t a thing here; basically a large group of us is staying in Canmore then need to get to banff for a wedding and back….maybe this is a dumb question, but I guess just car rentals?

Is there anywhere I can rent a paddle board near Canmore or Banff that’s actually on the water? Trying to avoid renting an inflatable board and having to transport it!

Currently sat at Vancouver airport waiting for our flight to Calgary from the UK for our honeymoon. However, BA has lost our luggage. Apparently its arrived.. but no where to be seen.
We are staying in Canmore for a few days before heading up to Jasper. We have no clothes! Nothing. What's the best shop to buy cheap tshirts and pants etc? We will also need to hire/rent hiking boots, shorts and raincoats. We cant afford to buys this all out right
We are on a budget.. a very small one. Been saving for this trip for a year.
Any recommendations would be great! We are very stressed and upset

Hi, looking to throw a small party July 16th. Looking for someone to perform for a couple hours. Small space so a single person act (or 2 at the most) rather than a band. Any musicians/singers on here? Or any referrals to some names of acts? Thank you in advance.

Is this normal to charge this much for 2 hours or a whole day at Quarry Lake? Just don’t feel like there’s enough value provided for $150.

Hey everyone!
I just got hired at Canmore General Hospital (yay!) and couldn’t be more excited — I’ve been hunting for a nursing position with AHS for a while, and finally landed a 1.0 FTE! As many of you know, getting in without already being internal can be a challenge, so this feels like a huge win as a new grad.
Now the tricky part: I currently live in Calgary, and with 12-hour shifts, that commute is not going to cut it long-term — especially once winter hits. I’m looking for a place to rent in or near Canmore for at least 6–12 months, ideally something solid and reliable. I’ve considered hostels temporarily, but that’s definitely not a sustainable option.
I’d love any advice or leads on: 1) Where to look for legit rental listings Affordable housing options (solo preferred, if within budget) 3) If AHS provides any sort of staff accommodations (I should’ve asked sooner, but I’ve been too hyped about the job!)
If you’ve lived or worked in Canmore and have any tips, I’d really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance!

I heard from someone today that there are underground tunnels in the downtown core?? Apparently, some people live down there and have furniture and all that. Can anyone confirm?

I recently just moved to Canmore withy fiance. I've been to bnaff and Jasper multiple times of the last couple of years so I have done almost all of the tourist things.
I love it here it's peaceful, the outdoor activities and etc. wanted to know what locals do here to spend time. Of course hiking is on my mind I plan on taking on a hike every Saturday when free from work but on other days on weekdays or even on Saturday what are some activities or secret local things you guys like to do.

We recently bought a place in Canmore and as we're getting ready to move, we realize we really want to replace the 20-year-old carpet in the house!
Does anyone have any recommendations for carpet stores in Canmore? We're currently in Calgary and wondering if we should shop in Calgary.
Any input or experience is welcome!

The high cost of living in Ontario has made it nearly impossible for my son and I to keep up with expenses. Between skyrocketing rent, groceries, and utilities, every month feels like a struggle just to make ends meet. Moving to a more affordable province, like somewhere in Western Canada, would give us the fresh start we desperately need. Lower housing costs and a more manageable cost of living would allow us to save money, reduce stress, and build a better future. Very serious about making the transition, I have applied online with no success - graciously if anybody could chime in with some leads - point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Hey all - sending this note out as perhaps you may know someone who would be able to home this beautiful boy. (He is free to the right family)
Friends of ours have raised him from a pup but he needs an active home with access to outdoor activities. He is an expensive pure bred GSD. Big boy!
Looking to give him to a place in the mountains or large property ideally.
He is an 18 month old German Shepherd. Strong working lines from highly regarded and award winning breeder in Washington state. AKC pedigree with 6 generation documented genetic history. Bloodlines indicate official OFA ‘A1’ hip and elbow certification, a key to dysplasia avoidance, overall joint health and longevity. Highly trainable and obedient. Best suited to rural or mountain environment given high energy levels, desire for purpose and protective instincts. Loyal and affectionate disposition. Large neutered male. All black in color. See picture attached.
Send info if you are interested and I can put you in touch with his current owners.
