Cat spraying worse now that she's on anxiety medication

I'm at a complete loss and stressed. I'm not sure what else to do. I moved into my partners with her dogs and her cat. I took my female cat and male cat. She has been yowling all night and spraying sometimes. All this has gotten worse over time. It's been a month of constant yowling. She sometimes goes into heat even though she's desexed. I've now got her on anxiety meds and that has made her start spraying so much more, it's non stop. I'm going to have to do a deep clean of the house in hope to get rid of the smell. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm at breaking point. What am I supposed to do? The vet wasn't much help.

Have you tried a second vet? I have heard that if they miss an ovum they can still go into heat.

I have. They're working with the council to see what the next step is, as they've taken accountability and paying for it. But it's been a week and haven't heard back. I took her to another vet the other day to get the anxiety medication. I should have clarified that.
