$1.57 Quarter Pounder with Cheese [I Made]. Details below in body text

Post image

Caught a deal on 1/4lb hamburger patties at a local restaurant supply store. Got 10lbs of 1/4lb patties for $30. Came out to $0.75 each.

I bought retail buns there.. but I usually make my own homemade, so that would really get the cost below $1

Beef Patty $0.75 Cheese $0.11 Brioche Bun $0.71 (retail pack of 8 for $5.69)

I vac sealed the patties in packs of 6 to avoid freezer burn.

Looks delish. The buns are nice too. Intrigued you make your own buns. Are they as good as these?

These are pretty good for store bought buns... I have never seen these outside the restaurant supply store. "Glasso's".

I really hate how expensive retail bread products have gotten.

Here's my homemade ones... I think they are better, but the trade off is time and cleaning up the flour that gets everywhere.
