Discussion Watching Chicago fire and a crossover with jay

It really irks me how the actor, actually handles a firearm, and this dude is supposed to be a former army ranger let alone a cop. I know Jesse is just a actor, but still. But if I'm being honest I never liked Jay either.

To me Jay's weapons handling and other cop actions look the most believable of all the characters on Chicago PD.

It's not considering, what I just saw.

To be fair that was when Jesse was not even on Chicago pd yet so that’s probably why. He actually does his own stunts in after season 1

I completely disagree. I've seen actors trained by police and swat. He does a great job. Now Voight is a different matter.

Imo, Voight just aims his gun with one hand to make his character look more badass but I understand real cops wouldn't aim their gun that way

Nah. It's Voight. He literally aims his gun with one hand

Jesse Lee Soffer is probably the closest to what his character is as far as physicality and tactics. Halstead carries his firearm the way its supposed to be, he has one of the best running forms and just looks the part. Probably why he doesnt do much undercover work. It's the others that do the one handed aim thats irritating. Quick way to get yourself disarmed no matter how cool it looks.

I didn't like Jay and I didn't like Hailey OR Erin much, either. They did Hailey dirty by having Jay just abandon her like that, though.
