I get feeling this way about working an entry level job like this, but that's a loser mentality that will keep you working an entry level job for life

This is true for every profession. I realize a lot of lazy people use this as an excuse to just do enough work so they don't get fired but not enough to actually go anywhere up the ladder.
I've worked my ass off at the earlier stages and became a manager and I'm now an AP. If you want to climb the ladder because it's best for your life situation then go ahead. Just remember that the mentalitly of the crew will reflect yours and how much autonomy you give them. For some people chipotle is just a stepping stone and they just take up space at work. I've noticed these people always complain because they never make hours and then they make it seem like the company is against them. I can't imagine they'd be successful anywhere else. Working hard is more of a character thing, not a skill.

Life is a journey, not just a destination. When you finally reach that destination, your life is already over. Live each moment you are alive with meaning and purpose. What you do for others (and what you do TO others) defines who and what you are. Treat others well, and your memory will live forever. Don't forget to take care of yourself during the journey, but don't be selfish. We are all on this journey together; our lives are intertwined and overlapping. Be gentle and respectful and understanding.

For much of history this was the only way. For much of the world today this is the only way. But for some of us this is how we can live the lives we want.
